The external link tool, allows
customers to seamlessly link third
party applications with images
scanned into MedFORCE Scan. With no
programming effort from MedFORCE or
the business application, a button
can be configured to sit on the
application and when the button is
clicked it will open images in
MedFORCE Scan.
Users can integrate applications
with MedFORCE Scan in 6 easy steps
that include selecting the target
application, choosing the
cabinet in MedFORCE Scan and the
field to be linked, the type of
region as static (the text remains
in the same place all the time), or
dynamic (the text can be anywhere on
the application screen) and then
selecting where to place the link
button on the application. Once the
link button is on the application,
simply click it to open the
documents for that file in MedFORCE
Scan.
For legacy systems (dos), which
might not allow for the button link,
hot-keys can be configured to allow
for the same programming free
integration.
